We don't have any new developments on the situation to report since that post we're still waiting on Steam's decision regarding the game's age rating, and until that verdict comes down, our hands our tied. Specifically, there's a bolded section marked "multiplayer," and I believe the rest of your questions are addressed in a much longer section titled "Clarifying the situation with the Steam release's age rating." We're absolutely in agreement with you regarding the Steam's age rating when you say that "this doesn't make sense," but unfortunately it wasn't our decision. Hi LunaLunatic, you may want to read the latest Kickstarter post for more info, since it addresses several of your questions. Thank you all for being a part of our success, and please enjoy Idol Manager! This is a huge day for us, and we're incredibly excited to now have the opportunity to share our creation with the world, but we wouldn't be where we are today without all of you.

The support that we received throughout the Kickstarter campaign and beta period surpassed our wildest expectations, and we feel so incredibly fortunate to have the support of backers who have been cheering us along every step of the way. We're incredibly grateful to everyone who has helped to make Idol Manager possible. Within the next week, we intend to launch an updated version of the editor (and with that new version of the editor, we'll also be updating the accompanying documentation, which as some of you have noted has historically lagged behind the editor's current feature set). We shipped an early version of the Idol Manager editor during the game's beta, and we've made several updates to it since then based on your suggestions and feedback. (This is still a feature that we're excited about, but because it's a stretch goal, we didn't want its inclusion to delay the release of the game.) Multiplayer is still planned to be added in a post-launch patch.

Right now, we don't have more information - our attention is focused on a number of issues that have cropped up around the PC release - but in the future we'll be sharing more information about the Switch port (and when you can expect it).

The Nintendo Switch version of the game is currently in pre-production, and active development will begin soon.

We still have plans for French localization to arrive in a later patch - we'll announce more about this as soon as we are able!
#Idol manager g2a update#
The game's French localization is not yet ready for launch, and as such, we've had to update the game's Steam page to remove mention of French support. Idol Manager's French localization is delayed (but not canceled) The following is mostly a recap of the information that we posted in our previous Kickstarter update earlier this month in anticipation of the game's launch, but to quickly re-iterate the important parts:
